Why so long? The link carries the whole quest — no accounts, no server.

The light panel around QR code helps cameras read it in any theme; if scanning still fails, switch to the light theme and try again.

First open needs internet (save the area in Google Maps for offline use); then the hunt can play offline. One scan per phone for your own scoreboard.
